It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cedric Z. Gurski of Medina, Ohio, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Z. Gurski and Helen F. Gurski (Stropki). He is survived by: his wife Sherolyn Gurski (Wirtz); his children, Rick Gurski and Amanda Darrow (Eric); his stepchildren, John LeClair (Stephanie) and Lori LeClair; his grandchildren, Alison LeClair and Jeremy LeClair; his sister Sandra Singer (Art); and his niece Kate Vista (Luke).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Rick's name to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (606 E. Washington St, Medina, OH 44256) or to the Gurski Herman Treu Band Scholarship fund via Mayfield Alumni Association (Mayfield High School, 6116 Wilson Mills Rd., Mayfield Village, OH 44143).
