He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Martel (McGilton) and Alexander Michael Martel. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Paul Allen (Lisa) and Lori Ann Tanzer (Rob); his granddaughters, Allyson Martel Smith (Adam), Breanne Martel Ehrlich (Trent), Amanda Tanzer Schimmoeller (Wade) and Paige Tanzer Cross (Bailey); his great grandchildren, Hannah Rose, Violet Eden Smith, Emma Jean Ehrlich and Mills Martel Ehrlich; his sister-in-law Bea Martel; his nieces, Ann Grigg (Brandon) and Renee Comfort (Brent); and his nephew John Martel (Ida).
