He was predeceased by: his spouse Alice; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Shella (Audrey) and David Ryan (Lisa). He is survived by: his siblings, Anna Shella, John Ryan, Joe Ryan and Helen Uhryn; and his nieces and nephews, Donald Shella (Margaret), Tonia Petro (John), Katherine Piwowar (Alex), Joe Shella (Liz), Joe Ryan, John Ryan (Tina), Susan Pelz (Marty), Thomas Ryan (Pat), Marty Ryan (Jackie) and Betsi Sanders (Steve).
