With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger L Starkey of Mechanicstown, Ohio, born in Louisville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Starkey and Beulah Starkey (Kandel); his wife Carolyn Starkey (Garner); and his brother Milton Starkey. He is survived by: his children, Valarie Hawk (Tim) of Mechanicstown, Joanne Johnston (Jeff) of Salineville, Bruce Starkey of Mechanicstown and James Starkey (Linda) of Mechanicstown; his sister Kathy Cooper of Alliance; his sister-in-law Kay Starkey of Georgetown; and his friend Al Kramerer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
