With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Blakeman (Mechanicsburg, Ohio), born in South Solon, Ohio, who passed away on July 30, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sr. Blakeman and Maxine Blakeman (Frances); his siblings, Herman Jr., Joanna "Sis" Colwell (Richard), Ruth Ann Moore and Jean Harrington (Norman); his nephew Richard Colwell; and his niece Sandra Padin (Moore).
He is survived by: his wife Helen Candace Blakeman (Rutan); his sons, Chris (Sheryl), Scott (Kelly) and Tony (Tina); his grandchildren, Mallory, Hannah, Christina, Jacob and Joshua; his siblings-in-law, Bud Moore, Roger Rutan, Carl Rutan, Grace Blakeman and Jane Fitch (Rutan); his nieces and nephews, Kim, Eugene, Pam, Cheryl, Sue, Kenny, Billie, Dixie, Terry, Vickie, Mickey, Diana, Kathy, Joni Kay, Melissa, Roger Jr., Betsy and Terri Lynn; and also, Pam Rutan (Bob), Shannon Taylor (Heath), Kendall, Blake Rausch, Susan (Keith), Jeff and Amanda Rutan.
