With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reta C. Smith of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, born in Urbana, Ohio, who passed away on December 31, 2020 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Reta C. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stockwell and Adelaide Clark Stockwell (Heath); her son Richard Smith; her brothers, Gene and Daniel Clark; and her friend Delores Callicoat.
She is survived by: her husband Elden Smith; her children, Vicky Jeter (Joe), Teresa Gardner (Joe) and Glen Smith; her grandchildren, Christy Edwards, Miranda Rodgers (Shawn), Gina Branstiter (Adam), Jennifer Smith (Matt Kimball) and Melissa Smith (Matt Carroll); her daughter-in-law Barbara Smith; her great grandchildren, Michaela Cullen (Mason), Ethan Edwards, Emma, Isabelle, Clair Rodgers, Justin Rhoades, Colton, Conor Kimball, Andrew Basham, Liam Carroll and Johnathan Branstiter; her great great grandchildren, Kaiden and Adalynn Cullen; her brother James Clark; and her grandchildren, Shelby Masters, Kaylee and Matthew Allender. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
