He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Pelfrey and Geneva Pelfrey (Thacker). He is survived by: his sons, Jason Pelfrey of Springfield and Jacob Pelfrey of Mechanicsburg; his grandson Nicholas Pelfrey of Urbana; and his siblings, Barbara Routzahn (Tom) of Springfield, Deborah Davis of Springfield, Larry Pelfrey of Springfield and Gail Hildebrand (John) of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
