It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Castle Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Castle and Lorena Castle (Daniels); and his siblings, Harry Ronald Castle, Robert Castle, Arlie Castle, Johnny Castle, Mae Lyons and Loretta Caudill.
He is survived by: his wife Wilda M. Castle; his sons, Kenny Castle (Donna), Steve Castle (Lisa) and Doug Castle (Deb); his grandchildren, Jim Castle (Amanda), Kelly Colchin (Mike), Stacie Herald (Zachary), Ryan Castle (Morgan), Justin Sloan (Sami) and Danny Albritton (Emilee); his great grandchildren, Autumn Castle, Cahliee Sloan, Nikolai Sloan, Cable Walker, Easton Castle, Henry Herald, Everleigh Castle and Charli Castle; and his brother Danny Castle (Violet). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mechanicsburg Free Will Baptist Church, 18 Oakland Ave., Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
