It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wayne Knopp of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father David Lee; and his brother-in-law Dan Shell. He is survived by: his mother Mary Knopp (O'Neal); his wife Julie Knopp (Thomas); his son JD Knopp; his sister Amy Wholaver (Shawn); his parents-in-law, Bob and Joanne Thomas; his sister-in-law Marla Shell; and his nieces and nephews, Gabe, Zaiden Wholaver, Chelsea, Lindsay, Austin and Marinda Shell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to David's church in his honor.
