She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Barninger and Mary M. Hirst Barninger; her husband Walter C. Rock; her son Albert Barninger; her grandson David B. Rock II; and her brother John Barninger.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Rushen (William) of McDonald and David Rock (Frances) of McDonald. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends may call from 10 a. m to 11 a. m., Thursday, April 22, at Girard First United Methodist Church, 22 N. Market St., where funeral services will take place at 11 a. m. Please follow all current social distancing guidelines and health protocols when paying respects to the family or attending the funeral services.
