Katherine Woods Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Woods of McDonald, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on September 11, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Bucan and Sophia Bucan (Mikacinich); her husband Gilbert J. Woods; her son Gilbert Woods Jr.; and her siblings, Bernice Kren and George Bucan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Gault (Fred) of McDonald and Cathy Woods (Michael Maierson) of McDonald; her daughter-in-law Shawn Woods of Mineral Ridge; her sister Theresa Linton of Northfield; her grandchildren, Brandon Woods, Sara Gardner (Sean), Sophia Gault (Brett Ekkens) and Anna Gault (Paul Adair); and her great grandchildren, Katie, Ellie Gardner and Samantha Woods.

The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
