He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evans and Edna Evans (Mong); and his brothers, Lee Evans of Liberty and Robert Evans. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginger"; his children, John Evans III (Pamela) of St. Johns, FL and Laurie Smith (Donald) of McDonald; his grandchildren, Ryan Blake Evans of Walnut Creek, Christian John Smith, Paige "Bisky" Evans of Virginia and Faith Sydney "Beenie" Evans; and his sister Becky Paxton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
