He was predeceased by: his father Bruno Portolese. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Ulrich (Hodge) of North Carolina; his wife Kim Portolese (Martin); his sons, Dylan of McDonald and Jacob Portolese of McDonald; and his brother Lenny Portolese (Renee) of North Carolina.
