He is survived by: his wife Janie Purtee (Montgomery); his children, Jamie Purtee (Leslie) of Lynchburg, Eric Elliott (Mary) of Columbus, Brandon Elliott (Jennie) of Peebles and Kimberly Gibson of Lucasville; and his sister Linda Fitzpatrick of Florida. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
