He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry F. McBroom and Maude Best McBroom; his wife Jovita Prose McBroom; his daughter Beverly Skaggs; and his siblings, Edward McBroom, Ray McBroom, Vernon McBroom and Lillian.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Steven McBroom and Vicki McBroom; his grandchildren, Deanna Ceneski (Andrew), Barry Roach (Meghan), Jovita Scott (Chad) and Daniel Maloney (Danyle); and his great grandchildren, Ashley Roach, Joseph Ceneski, Victoria Ceneski, Gwyneth Maloney and Alexandria Maloney.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to SOMC Hospice.
