She was predeceased by: her parents, James Theodore Crabtree and Hilda Evelyn Williams Crabtree; her husband Samuel Lewis Cummings; her sons, James R. Crabtree and Kent L. Crabtree; her grandchildren, Mason Schneider, Enrique Crabtree and Heather Kazee Ottney; and her siblings, Ronald J. Crabtree and Vera J. Crabtree.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Crabtree (Renee), Angela Barrett (James) and Regina Mahle (William); her grandchildren, Nicole Brooks (Laura Buck), R. Todd Phipps (Veronica), Jason Phipps (Emily), Tracie Broughton (Nick), Amon Crabtree, Gayle Crabtree, Alissa Allison (Chris) and Ricky Ottney (Jamie); and her aunt Winona "Nona" Craycraft. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Per LaVonda's wishes there will be graveside services held and no flowers are to be sent.
