David left this world on January 26, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Andrew and Alice Gracie Nelson Wroten; and his siblings, Carl Wroten, Jerry Wroten, Wilma Howell and Pauline Carter.
He is survived by: his daughter Kima Sparks; his grandchildren, Scotty Sparks and Katelyn Cantrell (Tyler); his daughter Karen Bolton (George); his grandchildren, Courtney Bolton and Chris Bolton (Brittany); his daughter Kathy Lynn Ruiz; his grandchildren, Tara Meyers (Cameron), Erica Jameson (Marvin), Nathan Ruiz and Jenna Ruiz; his siblings, Danny Wroten and Diane Erlenwein; his close friend Maxie Grooms; and his pets, Sir Buckle and Chewie. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home (1310 3rd St, West Portsmouth, OH 45663). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
