He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard McDaniel and Loretta McPeak; his son Tracy McDaniel; and his sisters, Rosalie Murphy, Linda Finley and Sherry Shriver.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Gibeaut McDaniel; his sons, Trent McDaniel and Troy McDaniel (Wanda); and his siblings, Phyllis Lockwood (Ralph), Mickey Allen and Danny Coler (Susie). He is also survived by three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
