With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Van Horn of McConnelsville, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Van Horn to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Van Horn and Edna Lindimore Van Horn; his wife Ramona Lyon Van Horn; his son Walter Dean Van Horn, Jr.; and his brother Harold Van Horn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Troiano (Larry) of Stockport, Jackie Shaffer of Vincent and Charlene Fleming (Johnson) of McConnelsville; and his brother Dewey Van Horn of Jackson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
Due to current Covid 19 health concerns, a private funeral service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post # 24 Color Guard, 61 S. Kennebec Ave. McConnelsville.
