With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Armstrong Jr. of McConnelsville, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on July 10, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sr. Armstrong and Leola Armstrong (Clark); and his brothers, Delmar and Vernon Armstrong. He is survived by: his close friend Denise Armstrong (Swingle); his children, Lester Allen Armstrong, Greg Armstrong, Mark Armstrong, Jeff Amstrong (Lisa) of Zanesville, Mike Armstrong (Debbie) of Mt. Perry, Leitsa Armstrong-Lang (Nickey Leeth) of Reynoldsburg and Nicole Johnson (CJ) of Blue Rock; his daughter-in-law Karen Armstrong of Zanesville; his grandchildren, David Armstrong (Rhonda), Darcie McKenzie (Keith), Shane Armstrong, Adam Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong (ChrisAnn), Josh Armstrong, Teisha Lewellen (Matt), Sasha Pickrell (Jonathan), Nicole Armstrong (Michael), Scott Armstrong (Kari), Luke Armstrong (Jennifer), Keara Winegardner, Ashley Nassoiy (Peter), Allie Armstrong, Kayla Watts, Andrea Angelo (Kevin) and Chelsey Driver (Rothman); and his close friends, Tim Makin (Carolyn), Stanley Bennett (Millie), Dave Bishop (Barb), Mike Lambert, Pete King, Linda Knowlden (Wayne), Pat, Ed Walsh, Dana and Bev Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his name to Eastside Community Ministries or The Animal Shelter.
