It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan E. Ellis of McConnelsville, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Galen Ferguson; and her husband Paul Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Lynetta Lyon of Logan, Howard Lyon (Amy) of Gahanna, Michael Lyon (Megan) of Zanesville and Robert Ellis of Stockport; her grandchildren, Haley Ellis, Hope Ellis and Conner Lyon; her brother Jared Ferguson of McConnelsville; and her pet Lilly. She is also survived by grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
