He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Apperson and Burdella McKibben Apperson; his wife Sue Elliott Apperson; his son Scott Apperson; his granddaughter Macy Kennard; and his siblings, Eileen Morrow, Mary Duncan and Sherman Apperson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Kennard of Coshocton and Erica Apperson of Chardon; and his close friend Mary Gessel. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
