He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Palmer and Margaret West Palmer; his wife Ila Jean Richardson Palmer; and his siblings, Bonnie Ramsey and Landon Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Huck (Rick) of McConnelsville, Linda Mosier (Donnie) of McConnelsville and Rick Palmer (Stacie) of Zanesville; his grandchildren, Jason Huck (Emily), Jessica Cooper (Jason), Dr. Amanda Palmer, Brad Palmer (Carolyne), Madison Hale (Austin) and Gianna Palmer; and his great grandchildren, Joel, Ella Huck, Crosley, Huxley Cooper, Samuel Hale, Wyatt and Luke Palmer.
