She was predeceased by: her parents, Corda Brown Pugh and Floyd J. Pugh; her husband Clarence Bywater; and her siblings, Barbara Bywater, Kathleen Schwab, Calvin, Alvin and Melvin Pugh.
She is survived by: her children, Clarence W. Bywater of Malta, Mary Weyant of Pennsville, Carolyn Anderson of McConnelsville, Margaret Bywater of Malta and James Bywater of McConnelsville; and her sisters, Helen Bickley of Malta and Evelene Schwab of Malta. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
