She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyce Altman and Dorothy Altman (Cramer); her husband Robert "Bob" Franks; her son Michael Franks; her great grandchild Kaitlynn Miller; and her siblings, Max Altman, Richard Altman, Mary Louise Arrington, Elwanda Scoby, Arlene Meyers, Martha Jean Elder and Patty Herman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Walter (Wayne) of Rawson and Susan Willford (Roy) of Findlay; her grandchildren, Tracy Jones (Quentin), Jeanne Franks, Holly Njie, Tonya Gallant, Angela Drew, Diane Franks, Jason Drew (Nicci) and Kelly Walker; and her sister Janice Smith (John). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Shirley's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association of NW Ohio.
