He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ankney Herr; his daughter Jacqueline Kay Sharrer of Findlay; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Jeff and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Jaden, Camron, Grayson and Ashton; and his stepson Jim Herr of Tampa, Florida..
Memorials may be given to either Blanchard Valley Hospital or Bridge Hospice in his memory.
