He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Shafer and Dorothy Shafer (Shoop); his daughter Brenda Ann; and his sister Marjorie Myers (Floyd). He is survived by: his children, Susan Dietsch (Daniel) of Findlay, Kenneth (Ruth Ann) of Bowling Green, Richard of Columbus, Thomas (Peggy) of Asheville and Dwayne (Tammy) of McComb; his grandchildren, Aaron (Amy Masterlasco), Andy Dietsch (Julie), Jeffrey (Lysa), Ryan (Maureen), Lindsey and Kyle Shafer; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Hayden Dietsch; and his sister-in-law Doris Collingwood of McComb.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Living Stones Fellowship Church, Bridge Hospice or to the charity of the donors' choice.
