He is survived by: his parents, David Steen and Janet Steen (Sterrett); his wife Michelle Niese; his children, Cody Steen, Zack Hinshaw and Mercedes Steen; and his sisters, Mary Meyer-Miller (Mike) and Jamie Gill (Jason). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
