He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Detamore and Dorothy Detamore (Beam). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Adams; his siblings, Betty Shives (Dick) and Phil Detamore; his children, Keith Detamore of Spring Hill, FL, Diane Dendiu (John) of Mishawaka, IN, Gail Malloy (Mike) of Findlay, OH and Mark Detamore (Voni) of North Baltimore, OH; his grandchildren, Paul, Matt, Rachel, Michael, Joel, Josh, Jordan and Valerie; his great grandchildren, Jadyn, Hollyn, Emma, Lucas, Landon, Addison, Ben, Levi and Josiah; and his pet Benny.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to either the McComb Lions Club or a charity of the donor's choice.
