He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Ruskey and Jessie Ruskey (Nulton); his wife Wilma Prowant; his grandson Dan Kimmet; and his sister Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Tyrone Prowant and Joyce Brinkman; and his sisters, Emma and Joann. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
