He was predeceased by: his parents, Brice Wright and Georgia E. Fraley; his son Vernon Wright; and his brothers, Lloyd Wright, Dean Wright and Bennie Wright.
He is survived by: his children, William Boyd Wright Jr. (Tara Caudill) of Coalton, Carol Harshberger of South Shore, Barbara Wright of Bellefontaine, Billie Ann Wright of Athens, Angela McQuirt of Columbus, Jane Wright of Columbus, Mary Ann Wright of Athens and Walter Wright of McArthur; his siblings, Walter Anderson Wright (Deanna) of Wellston and Shirley Ruffing (Tony) of Carey, Ohio; and his granddaughter Heidi Jo Wright. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
