He is survived by: his children, Cheyenne Ferrell (Doug) of Hamden, Kayla Doherty of McArthur, Dominique Doherty (Aaliyah) of McArthur, Janice Doherty of Illinois, Roger "Bo" Skeens (Shannon) of California and William Eugene Doherty Jr. of Hamden; and his siblings, Michael Doherty (April) of New Marshfield, Kenneth Doherty (Loretta) of New Marshfield, Pamela Gillman of Hamden and Diane Doherty of McArthur. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
