He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Leroy and Harriett Mamie Amore (Rivers); his wife Jeneva Christine Amore; his siblings, Ethel Angle, Lily Green, Annie Moore, Sophia Donley, Mary Maple, Lawanda Capple, Isabelle Simmons, Wesley, Thurman, Virgil, Arthur and Everett Amore; and his daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Amore.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Amore (Judy) and Beverly Long (Richard) of Savannah, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Ronald Amore, Jr. (Diane), Teresa Havens (Ernie) and Jessica Long. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
