He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Bailey Coleman; his children, Angie Coleman (David Johnson), Nicole Coleman (Paul Winkler), James Coleman (Kimberly) and Sarah Coleman; his grandchildren, Brandon Coleman (Paige), Betty Coleman (Nathan McManis), Destiny Coleman (Jaiman Bentley), Isaiah, Daniel Winkler, DJ Coleman and Joshua Coleman; his siblings, John "Cecil" Coleman and Patricia Coleman; his son Anthony Coleman; his grandson Jeremy Coleman; his great grandchildren, Shelisa Coleman and Mason Coleman; and his siblings, Roy Coleman, Onita Hall, Sherman Coleman, Emzie Coleman, Marie Wolford, Judy Ferrell, Geraldine Blankenship, Mabel Hayton and Alice Prater. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
