He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCoy and Emily Briggs McCoy Seamster; and his brothers, Bill and Mike. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine M. "Jerri" Waulk McCoy; his children, John McCoy (Ellie), Rebecca Justice (Doug), Regina Jacks, Rich Wires (Tammy) and Tina McClure (Shane); and his siblings, Manuel, Danny, Linda, Carol and Janell. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
