He was predeceased by: his parents, Arther "Art" Hammond and Catherine Hackney Hammond. He is survived by: his children, Mackenzie and Cole Hammond of McArthur; his stepchildren, Avery Peters, CJ Graham and Lethan Graham; his siblings, Arther Hammond Jr. (Kimmie) of Hebron, Kentucky, Dianna Berry of The Plains, Amy Ward (Dustin) of McArthur and Jennifer Wells (John) of Wilkesville; and his nieces and nephews, Allison Berry, Nathan Hammond, Griffin Hammond, Katherine Hammond, Kelsey Ervin (Timmy), Logan Ward (Bryanna), Jacob Wells, Jarrett Wells and Jessica Wells.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cardaras Funeral Home - McArthur (201 W High St, McArthur, OH 45651). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fern Kruger Building (31471 OH-93, McArthur, OH 45651).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jeffrey Hammond Memorial Fund at the Vinton County National Bank, 203 W. Main St., McArthur, Ohio 45651.
