He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Emory and Helen Louise Speakman Hale; his wife Donna Kay Collins Hale; his siblings, Norman, Phillip Hale and Coleen McDowell; his nephew Ricky McDowell; and his niece Diana McDowell.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Wayne Hale (Kelly West) of McArthur and Christopher Nathan Hale (Stacy) of Radcliff; his grandchildren, Nikki Lynn Hale (Daniel Carsey) of Lancaster and Thomas Gregory Hale (Emily) of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Roman Callen Williams and David Alan Williams; and his brothers, Paul Hale (Loretta) of Darbydale, Mike Hale of Fairfield and Patrick Hale of Alton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
