He was predeceased by: his parents, George Markin and Opal McCathern Markin; his wife Mary Reynolds Markin; his sons, Kevin, George and Gary Markin; and his siblings, Ethel Poston, Anna Markin, Mary Perry, Grace Casey, Katheryn Coleman, Paul, Marvin and Gale Markin.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Reynolds (Sarah) of McArthur, Charles Markin of Kentucky and Pam Campbell (Rick) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Mark Wolfe (Autumn) and L. J. Warrix; his brother Kenneth Markin of Patriot; and his nephew Joe Coleman. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
