It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel C. Short of McArthur, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Reynolds and Lucille Reynolds (Fee); and her siblings, Marvin Reynolds, John Reynolds, Gene Reynolds, David Reynolds, Ed Reynolds, Tom Reynolds and Vera Tedrick.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Short; her daughters, Debbie Kocab of Van Wert and Tamara Sue Wilson (Aaron) of Logan; her grandchildren, Jessica Heath (Chris) of Van Wert, Chelsea Ball (Colin Nichols) of Obetz, Amanda Kocab of Van Wert and Wesley Ball (Annmarie) of Lancaster; her great grandchildren, Carter, Gavin Heath, Aiden Kincaid, Colton, Autumn Hunter, Alexander, Grant Nichols and Ethel Ball; her sister Evelyn Steinberg of Gibson City, Illinois; and her brother-in-law Bob Tedrick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home (201 W High St, McArthur, OH 45651). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Bell Cemetery.
