He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Reynolds and Lucille Marie Fee Reynolds; and his siblings, Gene, John, Marvin Reynolds and Vera Tedrick.

He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Earl Reynolds of Newark, David Lee Reynolds of Columbus, Ethel Clair Short (Charles) of McArthur and Evelyn Steinberg of Gibson City, Illinois; and his close friends, Zera and Tim Reid of McArthur. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other friends.
