She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Prater and Virginia Hall Prater; and her children, Darlene Pierce, Randall Dean Pierce, Eric Jason Pierce and Terry Lee Pierce.
She is survived by: her husband William L. Pierce; her children, Billy Joe Pierce (Pam), Franklin Toby Pierce, Ryan Pierce and Diane Vickers (Scott Holliday); and her siblings, Randall Lee Prater (Cleta), Mary Lou Wood (Brian) and Connie Foster. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
