She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dewey and Isabelle Coleman Thacker; her husband Roy C. Pierce; and her siblings, Thelma Butcher, Judy Woods, Alvin Thacker, Earl Thacker, Ballard Thacker and Terry Thacker.

She is survived by: her children, Garry Pierce (Marjorie) of McArthur, Robert Pierce (Debbie) of Circleville, Clyde Pierce (Samantha Wright) of McArthur, John K. Pierce of Wellston, Linda Grow of McArthur and Cheryl Hubble (Joe) of Gallipolis; her sisters, Riney Frasure of Bainbridge and Kathy Thacker of McArthur; and her siblings-in-law, Marsha Thacker of McArthur, Carol Thacker of McArthur, Ruth Thacker of McArthur, Vernon Dale Pierce of Canal Winchester, Ansel Pierce of Jackson and Randy Woods of McArthur. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
