She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Coates and Elizabeth Coates (Donley); her husband Joseph Anthony Kowalczyk; and her sisters, Ardath and Shirley Coates.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Kowalczyk of Maynard, Kelly Kowalczyk (Anita) of Kings Mt, Kirk Kowalczyk (Susan) of Bellaire, Michele Hill of Bridgeport and Randy Kowalczyk (Linda) of Wellsburg. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
