He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Parkins and Margaret Parkins; his wife Doris; his grandson Joshua Siers; his siblings, Cindy Schultz and Jerry Parkins (Terry); his siblings-in-law, Rick Carr, Ruth Smith (Ron), Floyd Hohman (Martha), Roy Hohman (Ann) and Merle Hohman; and his parents-in-law, Francis and Marie Hohman.

He is survived by: his children, Theresa Cordle (David) of Curtice, OH, Malinda Siers (Steven) of Springfield Township, OH, Brenda Osbourne (Mark) of Monclova Township, OH and Kevin Parkins (Julie) of Perrysburg, OH.; his sister-in-law Diane Hohman (Ken Gipe); and his siblings, Marcia Wagner (Joe), Betty Sanchez (Dave), Karen Kuhn (Ed), Anne Carr (late Rick), Jane Morgan (Mark), Tim Parkins, Tony Parkins (Lindsay), Chris Parkins (Kara Delarber), Judy Demars (Ted) and Brian Parkins (Laura). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings and their spouses.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home (501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (104 W Broadway St, Maumee, OH 43537).
