He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Podiak and Martha Podiak (Erdman); his wife Patricia A. Podiak (McHugh); his children, Mary Deidre DeLong (Podiak), Rick Podiak, Jr., Timothy and Sean; and his brother Robert Podiak.
He is survived by: his children, Trish Pickens (Mitch) of Findlay, OH, Peggi Burkett (Bill) of Whitehouse, OH, Deborah Hertzfeld (Kevin) of Waterville, OH, David Podiak (Cindy) of East Dubuque, IL, Douglas Podiak (Tina) of Wildlight, FL and Daniel Podiak (Diana) of St. Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, Matthew, Brian, Karen, Hailee, Ashley, Lauren, Taylor, Maggie, Drew, Jaclyne, Amanda, Emily, Aaron, Bailey, Jimmy, Jesse, Samantha, Travis, Zachery, Jakob, Eva Patrice and Cheyenne; his great grandchildren, Mitchell, Benjamin, Samuel, Abigail, Cameron, Avery, Eleanor, Bella, Bishop, Carter, Colt, Clara, Eli, Isaac, Lila, Thea, Warren, Jameson, Seara, Niklaus of Annalise, JC and Deidre Marie; his son-in-law Dennis DeLong; and his sister-in-law Ima Podiak. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
