He was predeceased by : his father Richard, Sr. Gerding; and his brother-in-law David Haupricht. He is survived by : his mother Patricia Gerding (Nestich); his son Ricky Gerding, III (Katelyn); his grandson Cooper Gerding; his fiancé Leslie Bialecki; his sister Sherri Haupricht; and his nieces, Shawna Valiton (Jeff), Trisha Wolkins (Ben) and Deanna Schad (Dan). He is also survived by many cousins; great-nephews; great-nieces; and countless friends.
