He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Abbott and Elma Abbott; and his sister Susan VanScoder. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert (Denise) and Gary; and his nieces and nephews, Charles Abbott, Shannon Abbott, Nick Abbott (Ashley), Tyler Abbott (Jana) and Bryce Abbott.
