She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Carpenter; her pets, Dodger and Callie; and her siblings, Camela Nitschke (Steve), Stephen Hess (Dana), Dave Hess (Mary Yark) and Charles Hess (Becky Wagner). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
