He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Vlerah and Lola Van Vlerah (Hoy); and his siblings, Donald Van Vlerah, Cleah DiNardo, Youvan Coleman, Nancy Sexton and David Van Vlerah.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marie Van Vlerah; his children, Michael Van Vlerah (Jill) and Michelle Davidson (Douglas); his grandchildren, Andrew Davidson (Megan O'Hearn), Arielle Harbauer (Matt), Emily Harbauer (Will) and Joshua Van Vlerah (Brianna); and his great grandchildren, Harrison, Beckett, Paul, David and Charlotte.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian & Missionary Alliance Great Commission Fund in Lawrence's memory.
