He was predeceased by: his son Joey; and his parents, William Gernheuser and Joanne Gernheuser. He is survived by: his wife Marlene (Kopp); his children, Ryan, Jordan and Amanda; and his sisters, Julie Heinrich (Paul) and Laurie Brubaker (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in Ken's name be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital, ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) or The American Cancer Society.
